21st November 2016 – 16th December 2016
It’s us again!!
Before we get into what fun we have in store for Christmas, I’d like to say thank you, on behalf of the PTA, for the fantastic level of support for both the Halloween disco and the Christmas Card project – I certainly can’t wait to get Mia’s card back!
Thanks also to those who have shared their views around spending. Please feel free to get in touch with any ideas on email@example.com
Christmas Raffle – Donations
We would like to request donations from parents, grandparents and friends of the school, to make up a variety of different hampers for a raffle. Could you please bring in items which are Green, Red or Gold in colour? We would be grateful if you could bring these items into school by 25th November 2016 (apologies for the short notice but we are finishing so early this year). We’re looking for any items so long as they are in those colours! So go crazy!!!
Christmas Raffle – Ticket Sales
Tickets will be on sale from 5th December to 9th December in the Hall at close of school. Tickets will be £1 per strip. We will also be selling our Christmas goodies.
Christmas Dress up Day
On our last day of term the children are invited to wear anything Christmassy to school: it could be a jumper/dress/t-shirt hair band whatever they like. As per last year, we’d love them to come with a donation of loose change. Each child will get the chance to put their loose change into our giant money tube, in the hall, and see it come rolling out into the bigger collection, all going towards the PTA funds.
This was a great success last year and we hope it will be a fun last day for the children.
Please note that we will be selling refreshments, Christmas gifts and treats during these events. A reminder of the dates is below:
6th December 2016 9.30am – Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.
7th December 2016 2.15pm – Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.
Many thanks, in advance, for your support of these events.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from all of us on the PTA.
