At the start of our school term back in September 2015, we set all of our children a challenge. The challenge was for each year group to try to achieve the highest percentage of attendance for that school year (September 2015 – July 2016) and at the end of the school year they would be rewarded with a trip of their choice.

Yes, you have guessed it! Y6 were the winners.

We have organised a visit to the BBC Newcastle studios. The tours are educational and great fun. The children will have the opportunity dress up as ”Diddy Dick and Dom” puppets; perform a scene set in the actual Wolfblood tent set; and make and record radio sound effects. They will also get the opportunity to take part in reading the news on set as a “newsround” presenter.

Please can all children bring a packed lunch in for this event, as we will be late back and miss school lunch. Our Children may also like to bring in a small snack to enjoy at the BBC during their tea break. (Fruit, cereal bar-no sweets please)
