As I mentioned in the previous letter, the date of the summer fayre has been changed to Saturday 17th June.
What to expect at the fayre?
We’ve got fair-ground rides; bungee trampoline; refreshments, sports, stalls and more.
The option for parents/teachers to have a stall for £10 charge is still open, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks to those who have already expressed an interest.
We are requesting donations of the following items for the stalls (good condition only please): Books; DVDs; Cuddly toys; and any more tombola items.
Cups! Our cups were a great success last year, and so we’re rolling them out again. These will be coming home Friday 26th of May to be returned to school by 9th June. Details of what to do will come out with the cup.
This year we are also looking to introduce a new stall – The Costume Stall!
Do you have Halloween outfits; general fancy dress and more than likely World Book Day costumes that your children have outgrown or no longer want? We’d love for you to donate these items for our stall. We want to use any money generated from this stall to buy books for the school library, so please again, support us if you can.
Non–Uniform Day Friday 26th May
For this half term’s non-uniform day we would like to request donations of chocolate! (mmm yummy!, no it’s not for us to scoff on, it’s for a chocolate tombola at the Fayre). Any sort of chocolate would be gratefully received, but please ensure it’s not out of date.
Best wishes for now,
Jen Mitchelson, on behalf of White Mere PTA
