Dear Parents and Carers,

I just wanted to write with an update on the last few weeks of term. As always, the end of the Autumn Term is very busy…but busy with lots of exciting and lovely things for the children to enjoy!

Foundation Stage Christmas Crafts Stay & Play – 6th December Just a reminder that Mrs Lowrie and Miss Allsopp will be holding a festive Stay & Play Session tomorrow! This event will take place in the school hall between 9.15-10.30am – everyone is very welcome but could you please let the office know that you would like to come so we can ensure we have enough resources for everyone. Entry will, as usual, be through the main school entrance.

Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 Nativity Performances – 11th December You have all received your slip about the two performances (11.00am and 2.15pm). Entry will be through the main office and we look forward to seeing you at one of the two performances. As mentioned on the slip, if you have a larger number of people wishing to see the shows it would be greatly appreciated if you were able to split yourselves between the two performances to help us with seating.

BodyRockerz End of Term Performances – 11th & 13th December at 4.15pm Parents and carers of children who attend BodyRockerz Dance Club are welcome to come along and see the children perform the dance that they have been learning. Next week, both the Monday Club and Wednesday Club will put on performances at 4.15pm at the end of their sessions – slips about these performances are being sent home.

Nursery Nativity Performance – 12th December at 11.00am Just a reminder about the Nursery nativity – parents, carers and grandparents are very welcome to the performance which will take place in the hall. Entry will be through the main office and we look forward to seeing you there.

End of Term Music Performance – 14th December at 2.00pm Parents and carers of children who have been having music lessons are welcome to come along and see the children perform on Thursday 14th December. The performance will include children who have been learning piano, violin, guitar and the keyboard and it will last for around 30 mins in the school hall. Entry is via the main office as usual.

Nursery’s Special Visitor! – 14th December Our Nursery children will be entertained by Startastic the Elf here in school as part of their Christmas treat – check out Twitter to see photos on the day!

Reception and Year 1 Trip – 14th December As you know Reception and Year 1 will be going off to Down at the Farm for their special Christmas trip. Thank you for the contributions towards the cost of the trip so far – if you are able to send in your contribution it would be greatly appreciated.

Year 2 – Year 6 Panto Trip – 15th December As you know the children will be going to the panto for their special Christmas trip. Thank you for the contributions towards the cost of the trip so far – if you are able to send in your contribution it would be greatly appreciated.

Christmas Parties All classes will be having their Christmas parties in the last week of term – we will send out more details next week. We will be suggesting that all children bring their party clothes in a bag on the day of their party and they can get changed after lunch (we will help our younger children, don’t worry!).

As usual, if there is anything at all that you want to discuss, please do not hesitate to contact me at school.
