Nursery

We have begun the term by becoming “Eggsplorers” as learn about new life and growth. We looked at duck and hen eggs before talking about what we already know about eggs. Miss Holland found some mysterious looking eggs and we shared our ideas about what we thought might hatch; these included fairies, mermaids, sea monsters, dragons, dinosaurs, crocodiles, ninja turtles and princesses. We will learn about new life and how it begins from an egg through mini-beasts, sea life, birds and maybe even dragons, dinosaurs and maybe even Pokemon!

We will also begin our Reception transition by looking at fun phonics play and glittery mark making and letter formation. (Don’t tell Mr. Kidd about the glitter though!)
