Year 3

Joanne Grant
Year 3

Welcome to Year 3

This term in our English lessons we have been using the text “Gorilla” by Anthony Browne to explore our understanding of character and dialogue. The children have discussed character feelings and made predictions on how the story will develop based on this understanding. I’ve been very impressed with the children’s use of vivid and appropriate language as they have shown their skills at using adjectives, verbs and adverbs.

Stay tuned for examples…
